Go trekking in the Himalayas

Also known as Chaurasi Kutia, the ashram has become famous after The Beatles practiced transcendental meditation there in Rishikesh in the late 60s.

Neer Garh Waterfall
A little bit far from the city, you can find the waterfalls where you can go for a swim or simply hiking. Again, don’t forget that the waterfalls are closed during the monsoon.

Bhootnath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can get an amazing view of Rishikesh from the top of this temple.

Where to eat?

Little Buddha
Little Buddha is a really famous place for tourists who don’t prefer Indian food. You can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner or have a drink (non-alcoholic since Rishikesh is alcohol-free) by the Ganga. They have a very rich menu and the atmosphere is amazing.
